Bylaws In Brief
Animal Control (Bylaw 703/01)
All dogs and cats in Devon must be licensed, and are not permitted to run at large. They must be on a leash or lead under control of a responsible person at all times. An owner is permitted no more than two dogs and three cats. Infractions of these regulations may result in a fine and/or the animal being impounded. Licenses should be purchased at the Town of Devon Office. The license is currently valid for the life of your dog or cat and great value. To dowload a copy, go to our information brochures page.
Please note: If you choose to pick up an animal that is loose and are unable to reach a Peace Officer, you remain responsible for the animal until an officer is able to return your call.
