Parks and Recreation

Our programs offer a variety of social activities for residents of all ages and our recreation facilities are available all year round.  Devon is also very proud of it's beautiful parks and trails that can be found throughout the town, winding down into the river valley.

Family and Community Support Services

Family, Community and Support Services (FCSS) has been providing services to individuals and families in Devon since 1984. This includes services for children, youth, parenting, the elderly and guidance and advice for employment, finance and everyday living.

Protective Services

Devon has an active department that includes the police, peace officers, animal control, and fire services. This unit looks after the safety and well-being of the community through various programs and duties.

Economic Development and Tourism

Economic Development and Tourism staff manage activities related to overall corporate marketing and communications,

special events and sports tourism, promotions, website development and public relations. A primary focus of the staff is working in collaboration with the Devon and District Chamber of Commerce to support local shops, restaurants, retailers, entrepreneurs and business operators. Projects also include land sales, residential and business development initiatives.

High profile projects include partnership with the Devonian Way, coordination of the Downtown Vitalization Project, the Economic Development and Tourism Board and establishing Devon has as a first-class tourist destination.
