Devon continues to meet our goal of operating with integrity and upholding our town’s positive standing in the region. Our achievements include the ongoing provision of exceptional municipal programming and services, the realistic and proactive management of growth challenges, and supporting a vibrant and resilient business sector.
I am proud of Devon’s reputation as a caring community; our town is well known for its key investments in essential family, senior and youth services; proactive recycling projects; affordable housing; as well as wellness, sports, recreational, cultural initiatives. These tasks underline our dedication to developing the vital infrastructure required for a sustained investment in the people of our community.
Looking back at 2009, we’ve attained a lot, and Devon continues to be a top choice in the province for investment, home buyers and new business development. We anticipate a bright future for 2010.
